PLEEAY
DANCE LIKE THE FBI ISN’T WATCHING
PLEEAY is a San Francisco gutter pop band with a nonbinary ballet fairy frontperson. Pleeay uses drums, bass, synths, dance, and poetry to resist conformity, choose consciousness over convenience, and live loudly with compassion.
FFO: Patriarchy - Delilah Bon - Amyl and the Sniffers - Bronski Beat
Castle
(they/them) ~ Vox/lyrics
All-singing, all-dancing alien poet. Castle’s lyrics express the absurd struggle to navigate mental health and identity in a homogenized world.
Huli
(he/him) ~ drums/synth
Master of electronic cacophony with a passion for ye olde drum kit. Huli creates unforgettable sonic landscapes that everyone can move to.
Pete
(he/him) ~ bass
A sweet human-shaped gumdrop that breathes bass. Pete designed the first Pleeay zine in 2022 and soon joined the band on bass full-time.
